Originally, this place was created to host pictures of a special fan game played using Kev Adams figures only - hence its name, "The Kev Adams Challenge". With the assistance of several dedicated contributors, it quickly grew into a gallery and resource site of Kevin "GoblinMaster" Adams' fine works :)
Given the stupendous number of figures he has sculpted in his career, the original title of this blog still applies, as it is a challenge to try and display even a decent fraction of his production indeed!

Do you have some nice pics to send us for the gallery?
A Kev Adams Challenge game report - one with Kev Adams figures only - to submit?

Golden Demon 'Lost Demon' Category 1st place

Australia has had it's Golden Demon finals in Sydney over the weekend and for the first time in the history of the competition we had a new Category called 'Lost Demon'.
Here is a wonderfuly painted (slightly converted) Goff Rokka painted by the very talented Sebastian Archer.
Even though slightly altered and not the original Kev Adams sculpt i'm sure Kev himself would love this guy

It's an honour to be one of Kev's friends

I remember over 20 years ago being a spotty youth working for Games Workshop...and spending a week at the Head Office...that week I first crossed paths with The Goblinmaster!

Near the old G.W. Head Office there was a pub called 'The Man in Space' a regular watering hole for the G.W. folks.

I remember counting up my change to see if I could afford a pint...when a voice piped up..."Don't worry mate, I will get you a pint!"

Several years later, I find myself working at Harlequin Miniatures alongside the now infamous Pete Brown.

Dean Edwards, the Harlequin head-honcho, informed us that Kev Adams would be visiting as he would be working on a greenskins miniature range!

Since then...over the years, myself and Kev have spent quite a lot of money together in pubs around Nottingham.

Having set my own miniature company up recently -Rhoninstorm - it's an honour to have him working with us.

But more than that...it's an honour to be one of Kev's friends.

Always a magnificent sculptor, always humble and a fantastic human being!

Four A Goblins

Kev is designing a new goblin range for Four A Miniatures. Interestingly, these goblins, while clearly related to his regular goblins, appear to be a different subspecies if we look at the ears and cranial ridges.

Minden Miniatures Goblins

The owner of Minden Miniatures asked Kev to do some multipart goblins with spears, with interchangeable heads. The result can be seen here:

kev's goblin organ gun

A classic goblin organ gun from Kev's personal collection.

Kev's orcs

Some more classic orcs from Kev's collection.

Kev's painted goblins

These are some painted goblins from Kev's own collection. These models have been OOP for ages.

Yes, it's a peeing goblin...

Renegade orc greens

These are some orc greens made for Renegade miniatures. Kevin made lots of fantasy models for them that were never released to this day. So if you're a Goblinmeister fan, then go bug them about it. :)
